Email-Adresse sowie der Telefonnummern von Deiner Web-Site. Ich kann
nur hoffen, daß die Site nicht von Spamern gescannt wird. Sonst

Irgendwie finde ich es nicht so gut, dass meine dienstl. Telefonnummer
jetzt weltweit zur Verfuegung steht, wer weiss, wer sich das jetzt alles
aus Deinen Seiten raussaugt ... Selbiges gilt eigentlich auch fuer die
Mailadresse, aber da ich ab und zu sowieso in oeffentlichen newsgroups
poste, ist die Adresse eh schon einigen Spammern bekannt, aber im
"oeffentlichen Fall" schmeisse ich alles bis auf den Spruch aus dem
Footer raus. Mir waers recht, wenn Du das auf Deiner WebSeite auch
eliminieren koenntest.

Eigentlich habe ich es nicht so gern, wenn Daten von mir veröffentlicht 
werden, ohne dass man mich *vorher* darüber informiert. Allerdings finde 
ich es gut, dass Du wenigstens *überhaupt* informierst. :-) Von mir aus 
kannst Du sie drin lassen, weil mir die Idee irgendwie gut gefallen hat.

Wir haben gerade beim Mittagessen über die Gallery geredet. Meine Kollegen fanden die
Gallery zwar auch ganz nett, aber ein wenig langweilig zum Durchstöbern. Man weiß
nicht so recht, nach welchem Stichwort man suchen soll, und falls man nach einem Namen
sucht, dann ist es eher unwahrscheinlich, daß man bei 460 Einträgen einen Bekannten
findet. Ist es nicht denkbar, daß man nach irgendeinem Zufallsmechanismus die
Signaturen durchsucht?

Wonderful!  I always thought signatures were a valuable resource.
There are many things you could do in addition to what you have already
done.  Here are a couple ideas:

* Reference material, discussion, etc on the phenomenon of signatures.
* Reference sites for famous quotes, one-liners, etc.
* Distinguish original quotes from quotes of others.
* I see you include ASCII art, but it probably deserves several
  subcategories, and references to external material.  
* Allow people to rate signatures - how did you choose the ones you have?
* Reference related messaging gizmos and conventions - e.g. emoticons,
  quoting, flaming. Do you remember the "line eater" workarounds from
  about 10 years ago?

Good thing you say "one of ...".  I guess everyone changes theirs
occasionally.  Maybe you should include the date of the message that
you got the signature from.

How about a hierarchical tree to aid browsing?
The keyword mechanism is a step in that direction.  Take all the
keywords and group them into a couple level of categories.

How about indexing the signature contents and making it searchable?

May I kindly ask you to remove my signature as I do not appreciate having it
displayed to the world on a website. Moreover, as my role has changed to a more
management responsiblity the signature you have is a very old one and no longer
reflects my position.
